After over two hours of intense combat, the Master and his disciples finally cleared the depths of Shancha Ridge, securing the "Great Tang Kingdom’s" first line of defense. Because General Yin had cooperated, Tang Monk kept his promise and let him go. The tiger-demon, moved to tears, fled the ridge, vowing never to do evil again.
Despite their victory, the team was exhausted. Sun Wukong rubbed his aching arms. "Master, these demons are stubborn! My arms are sore from swinging the cudgel, and I still struggle to control my temper. I almost hit the 'commoners' (healthy cells) back there!"
Zhu Bajie sighed, nursing his bruises. "I felt weak too, Master. Sometimes I wanted to send 'Battle Signals' (Cytokines) to Wukong and Sandy, but I just couldn't muster the energy. Plus, I almost got distracted and started slacking off mid-fight."
Sha Wujing (Sandy) scratched his head sheepishly. "I can make 'Magic Treasures' (Antibodies), but they weren't strong enough or specific enough to stop the toxins quickly. If I were faster, you two wouldn't have been hurt."
Tang Monk smiled warmly. "You all did your best. However, our 'Immune Squad' lacks the proper gear. Wukong is too impulsive (Over-activation), Bajie is a bit lazy (Lack of signaling), and Sandy hasn't fully mastered his production. We need the right tools to fix these flaws."
Suddenly, the sky erupted in golden light. Guanyin Bodhisattva descended on a lotus throne, radiating peace. The disciples knelt in respect. "Greetings, Bodhisattva!"
"Rise," Guanyin said kindly. "I have watched your journey and seen your struggles. I have brought three special treasures to upgrade your 'Immune Combat Power' and protect the Great Tang."

The disciples' eyes lit up. Guanyin first handed an upgraded Golden Hoop to Tang Monk. "Tang Monk, this is for Wukong. It won't just keep his temper in check to prevent 'Collateral Damage' to healthy cells; it will also boost your own Antigen Recognition and Presentation. You will identify the demons' weaknesses (Antigen Peptides) much faster and relay that info to the team."

Next, she gave an upgraded Nine-Toothed Rake to Pigsy. "Bajie, this corresponds to your CD40L molecules and Cytokines. Its nine teeth represent the nine main 'Battle Signals.' It will make you a master commander, allowing you to activate Wukong and Sandy instantly. No more slacking off—you are now the heart of the team's communication!"
"Thank you, Bodhisattva!" Pigsy cheered, feeling a surge of focus he’d never felt before.

Finally, she gave an upgraded Crescent Staff to Sandy. "Sandy, this represents Mature Antibodies. It will help you precisely target demons, 'seal' them, and neutralize their poisons. You will now be able to mass-produce specific 'Magic Treasures' to ensure no toxin goes un-neutralized."
Guanyin then handed Tang Monk the Brocade Cassock and the Nine-Ringed Staff. "The Cassock represents the Complement System—it acts like an automated defense that can directly 'pop' (Lyse) demons. The Staff represents the Phagocytes—it will help you clean up any leftover demon fragments so they don't return."
Guanyin looked at them seriously. "These are just tools. Your real strength comes from Coordination and Belief. The core of the immune system is Precision, Activation, and Cooperation. Only by working as one can you protect the body."
With a flash of light, she vanished. The disciples felt transformed. Wukong felt calmer, Pigsy felt energized, and Sandy felt more capable than ever.
"Master!" Wukong exclaimed. "I feel balanced. I won't hurt the innocent cells anymore!"
Tang Monk smiled, but his expression soon shifted. A strange, eerie energy drifted from the distance. "Something is wrong. This doesn't smell like an outside invader... it feels like an 'evil' coming from inside the Great Tang itself. Quickly, we must investigate!"

Educational Key: The "Immune Gear" Explained
1. Antigen Presentation (Tang Monk): The process where the body identifies a germ and "shows" its pieces to the fighter cells.
2. CD40L & Cytokines (Pigsy/The Rake): These are the chemical "emails" and "phone calls" cells use to tell each other to start fighting. Without these, the immune system stays "lazy."
3. Mature Antibodies (Sandy/The Staff): Specialized proteins that lock onto specific germs like a key in a lock to stop them from working.
4. The Complement System (The Cassock): A group of proteins in the blood that can land on a germ and literally poke holes in it until it bursts (Membrane Attack Complex).
5. Phagocytes (The Nine-Ringed Staff): The "garbage collectors" of the immune system that eat up dead germs and debris.
